This study explores university students' experiences integrating a 10-minute Tadabbur (contemplative Qur'an recitation) session from the 'Ajaran Cinta Ilmu' e-book into their public speaking courses. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with surveys, interviews, and focus groups from 30 students, we investigated how this faith-based practice influences learning. Findings show that most students perceive significant benefits, including enhanced motivation for English learning, heightened spiritual connection, and comfort with the practice. Students also found 'Ajaran Cinta Ilmu' a valuable resource for connecting Qur’an verses to linguistic and scientific understanding, enriching academic pursuits. The consistent Tadabbur fostered a holistic appreciation of knowledge. While acceptance is high, prior exposure influenced students' ability to link Qur’an meanings to academic subjects. This study highlights culturally responsive pedagogy's potential for holistic student development by integrating religious texts into secular curricula.
